The False River Bass Club fished Concordia Sunday 02/30/10. Terry Hotard stuck a huge fish, almost 10 pounds. A 9.12! I don't have complete FRC results yet but will post when I do. Congrats to Terry. Many hooks were in the water in Feb on Concordia and it was only as matter of time before someone caught a nice bass. He released this fish. Hopefully the water will warm up this week and the spawn will kick-off. Feb was tough all over.

What a day!...Several members and guest were coming off a Concordia "beat down" from the day before. I was out for revenge after casting for 9 hrs on Concordia for 2 fish..It sure felt good setting the hook. Congrats to Brandon Kirby. 15#'s is a good sack on a tough lake! Sadly Lake Concodia is not the lake it once was.. Each year it gets harder and harder to catch a 5 bass tournament limit. Conditions this day were geat for at least a few heavy limits and some big kickers... but it didn't happen. At cast-off the water temp was 49 warming to 54/55 by noon...AND IT'S LATE FEBRUARY. Perfect for a good jig bite...Where did the big bass go?
